The magnificent fort of Rohetgarh was the fortified desert home of descendants of the 16th century Rathore of the Champawat clan. A bastion of proud Rajput traditions, Rohetgarh fort is a veritable oasis, on the banks of a lake, with spacious lawns. Fresco’s on the tall gateway, brightly painted in the traditional style, herald your entry into this charming world. The portico is a warm & informal place decorated with antique hunting rifles, shields and spearheads, daggers, trophies and original paintings.
