Ashram Spirituality Tour

Itinerary:
Cochin – Amritapuri – Isha Foundation (Ashram) – Coonoor – Mudumalai – Mysore – Bangalore - Puttaparthi – Bangalore (Art of Living)
Day 1: Cochin
Upon arrival into Cochin you will be greeted by the Mystical India representative and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Cochin
After breakfast depart the hotel for sightseeing of the area of Cochin which has been luring wanderers and traders for over 600 years and remains a living homage to its colonial past. During your tour you will visit the famous Chinese fishing nets, the synagogue, the Dutch Palace and churches of St. Francis and Santa Cruz Basilica. This evening you will depart for the Kathakali program which is an art form invented around the time of Shakespeare, it is the dramatized presentation of Hindu epics the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Overnite at hotel. Breakfast included.
Day 3-5: Amritapuri
After breakfast you will go to Amritapuri where the world famous Mata Amritanandamayi Math located. Amritapuri is the living example of the ancient Indian ideal the whole world is one family. Here you will find people from all parts of the world speaking different languages and having different customs and religions all living under one roof searching the meaning of life. When people come to Amritapuri Ashram for the first time, they are almost always surprised a remote fishing village on a small island cradled between the backwaters and the Arabian Sea has become the centre of a silent spiritual revolution.
Day 6-7: Isha Foundation
On day 6 you will go to explore another ashram. Sat Guru is the founder of Isha Foundation. He is a yogi, mystic and spiritual master with a difference. Isha Foundation is a non-religious, not-for-profit, public service organization, which addresses all aspects of human wellbeing. From its powerful yoga programs for inner transformation to its inspiring projects for society and environment, Isha activities are designed to create an inclusive culture that is the basis for global harmony and progress. This approach has gained worldwide recognition and reflects in Isha Foundation’s special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. All meals included.
Day 8: Coonoor
After early breakfast drive to Conoor. As you had a long day journey, there is no activity today. Evening at your leisure. Weather permits, in the evening you will enjoy camp fire. Overnite at hotel. Breakfast included.
Day 9: Mudumalai
After breakfast you will visit tea plantations and a factory at conoor and take the miniature train-world heritage status by unesco in 2005, to Ooty . There are fine views of forest, waterfalls and tea plantations along the way (Monkeys too!). After lunch at Ooty you will drive to Mudumalai, the elephant sanctuary. Evening you will have a jeep safari in the sanctuary where you will see elephants, bison, deer, monkeys etc. Overnite at hotel. Breakfast included.
Day 10: Mysore
After breakfast proceed to Mysore where you will explore the city. Places of interest in Mysore include the Maharaja’s Palace, Chamundeeswari Temple and Devaraj fruit market. Overnight at hotel and breakfast included.
Day 11: Bangalore
After breakfast proceed to Bangalore. In Bangalore you will visit the botanical garden and the Bangalore palace..In the evening you can proceed to the commercial road for shopping. Overnite at hotel and breakfast included.
Day 12-14: Puttaparthi
Sathya Sai Baba is a popular and controversial South Indian guru, religious figure and educator. He is described by his devotees as an avatar, god man, spiritual teacher and miracle worker. Prasanthi Nilayam is the name of the main ashram of the Indian Avatar Sathya Sai Baba. The rich harmony of Spirit, Intellect and Love result in santhi (peace) and Prasanthi (supreme peace); and that really is the message of the Prasanthi mandir
Day 15 - 18: Bangalore
Ravishankar is the founder of the Art of Living Foundation (spread over 146 countries) to promote human values, global peace and harmony. Here you may participate in a course which cleanses toxins and deep-rooted physical, mental and emotional blocks from the body. It synchronizes the mind and body through rhythmic breathing. This simple, yet profound course offers practical spiritual. ** Note – the course is conducted only on Friday to Sunday. All Meals included during your stay.
Day 19: Bangalore
After breakfast depart on a city tour of Bangalore before leaving for your onward destination.
